An Indian gem, indeed!
This was my first visit and I'm already looking forward to the next. And, if you have food allergies it's a great place to go, where your allergies are taken seriously and the owner clearly cares.
We ordered the dinner for two with a few modifications. Every single item was outstanding and delicious. We like spicy food so we opted for medium for our first try. It was perfect heat. Samosas, fritters, papadum, naan, curries, tandoori and tikka...all sooo good. There were these potatoes that the chef opted to include because of my allergies (I think) and they were perfection - fluffy with a crispy carmelized edge and delicious spices.
From the first bite to the last... outstanding. It's clear that quality ingredients are used, the chef is extremely talented, and they care about the entire experience. We had plenty of leftovers to bring home and enjoy tomorrow.
They appeared to have a good beer and wine selection. We ordered the lemonade (yum!) and pink chai tea
Regarding food allergies
I have alpha-gal syndrome (mammalian meat and byproduct allergy). This means no mammal (beef, pork, lamb, goat, venison and also no dairy). At Chaska there were several options I was considering. I was going to ask about a couple of dishes, and when I mentioned my allergies they shared ideas on how they could accommodate. We were able to order the dinner for two and with a couple basic modifications I could eat almost everything that was included. Dessert had dairy but that's ok, I was stuffed anyway 😁 My husband said the rice pudding was the best he's ever had.

Visited the new halal spot in town, Chaska Indian Cuisine, and it was an absolute delight!
The restaurant was impeccably clean and well-organized. The pricing was very reasonable, especially for the top-notch quality of food we received.
The staff was not only friendly but also incredibly helpful in guiding us through the menu. Although the wait time was a tad long, it was worth every minute.
We ordered Mango Lassi, Tikka Masala, Chicken Samosa, Chicken Korma, Chicken Tikka Tandoor, and the Garlic Naan. Each dish was bursting with flavor and authenticity.
Highly recommend for a lovely dinner out!

Chaska is a hidden gem in Holly Springs. The Spinach Chaat, Saag Paneer, and Chicken Korma were INCREDIBLE. If you live anywhere near here, it is tucked in the strip next to the Walmart. My wife and I have been here many times, and adore the food. More

The food was absolutely delicious! We got chicken 65 for an appetizer. The chicken was tender but crispy. For dinner we got chicken tikka masala and chicken korma with the bread basket. Everything was amazing and paired perfectly with the Rupee beer. We are so glad to have great Indian food closer to home and will definitely be back! More

Great food and clean, comfortable atmosphere. My wife's chicken tandoori was very flavorful and a generous portion. I had the tikka masala with chicken and it was spiced perfectly. We had a nice time and will be returning soon!

Visited on November 8. I came in excited to enjoy a good Indian meal, but the experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish.
Upon arrival, we were not greeted at all. We had to ask where to sit, and the response was simply “sit anywhere,” with no politeness or guidance. After being seated, no one offered water or even asked if we wanted any, paid or otherwise.
When I asked about the buffet, the server (an Indian woman wearing glasses) responded in a rude and dismissive manner, saying “go ahead and start.” This is not acceptable behavior for a customer-facing role.
The buffet presentation was poor, and most of the food was cold and clearly not freshly prepared. Several items appeared to have been sitting out for a long time. When I pointed out that the food was cold, there was no empathy or effort to address the concern. Instead, I was told, “this is how we serve it.”
The restaurant has a good location and potential, but the lack of basic hospitality, unprofessional staff behavior, and cold, stale-tasting food show a serious disregard for customers. Better staff training and a clear focus on serving hot, fresh food are needed. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this place.

After my first visit I'm already so excited to come back and try more dishes. I'm confident any dish I order will be spectacular. The chicken 65 was the best I've ever had and I'd never had scallops at an Indian restaurant but they were SO delicious. Nice texture and flavor with a good sear. The sauce they were served in was wonderful as was the mango jalapeno puree served alongside them. Service was wonderful, the owner (I'm assuming) was so pleasant when she came over to check on my experience. So wonderful to have a quality option for Indian food in this area. Please let's support this new establishment. I definitely want to have them around.

It is our 2nd visit to Chaska.. This time we decided to try a variety of dishes that the dinner for two offers. We didn't expect to have a feast! From the appetizer, to the four main dishes, rice, naan bread and dessert...it was definitely worth it. Our hostess made sure she descibed what each dish was which made the whole experience a lot more fun and interesting. Value was great, service was outstanding and food was delicious. Would definitetly go back and would highly recommend this place.

Take out on a Friday with my Wife was a complete letdown. I consider myself somewhat of a connoisseur in Indian cuisine, but this place is not it. First of all, the prices were so much more expensive than others. The issue is not so much that the price was high, but that the quality does not match. As I stated before, I have been to many different Indian restaurants and this one happens to be one of the worst in taste. The staff and restaurant itself are great, no complaints there, but as far as the food - It was not. The amount of rice that’s given is astronomically low and the chicken tikka masala lacked in more ways than one. If you all are searching for the best Indian restaurant, I highly recommend Bombay Curry on Leesville Road. You will end up paying a lot less, and the quality will be much higher, not to mention the portions. Very upsetting with this experience.

Great place to eat. We asked for vegan dishes and the chef made chili tofu for us. Gunpowder cauliflower is vegan and is really good. The sauce really balances the dish. Dal Mahkni was amazing. I got too much food and had to take it to go.
The decor was not fabulous it was nice but wasn’t indicative of being in an Indian restaurant. There was a buffet was available and seemed well stocked and the people seemed to enjoy. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Great place. I highly recommend checking it out.

The food was incredible! We enjoyed the avocado Indian street food appetizer, the tender lamb korma, garlic naan, and the delicious rice pudding for dessert. We enjoyed the bottle of water to do our own refills. The real candles, quiet Indian music and helpful and accommodating waiters created the perfect ambiance. The menus were organized well and were clean and maintained. Would highly recommend the restaurant.
